About (flaming stencil text)

- NOTICE - JULY 2, 2007 -

I have been contacted by the "New" owner of the Apache Warrior Motorcycle. All rights including: patents, licenses, intellectual properties, trademarks, etc. involved with the Apache Warrior Motorcycle Project and the Apache Warrior Motorcycle are the sole property of the new owner.

Technology has advanced dramatically since the creation of the Apache Warrior Motorcycle fourteen (14) years ago. New materials, computer software, and manufacturing process have changed the way products are brought to market. Therefore, the new owner is exploring the possibility of bringing an updated version of the Apache Warrior to the "Consumer" motorcycle market.

Furthermore, the new owner would like some marketing feedback concerning any interest in purchasing the updated Apache Motorcycle. Since there will be limited quantities what price range would you consider?

Would factory "Customization" be appealing? Any additional thoughts?

Also, "serious" investor inquiries are welcome to continue this endeavor. Please contact me at RammerJammer@Burntmail.com and I will foward your email to the new Apache Warrior owner.

May 2004 Update

I have finally received some new info on the Apache and have gotten around to updating this site. The old ABOUT page is still available for viewing here.

I have been in communication with Ken Laivins from Next World Design / Cycra Racing, the company who built the Apache. Below is some of the info he emailed to me:

From: Ken Laivins

Thank you for interest in the Apache Motorcycle.

It was a motorcycle that set new styling for many motorcycles like: the V-Rod, Honda Rune and new Confederate concept motorcycle. The Apache is currently own by a private collector on the West Coast. I am not aware of any plans for the collector to build the motorcycles.

The engine is 1100cc.

Harley Davidson was very interested in the Apache. They contacted us and express interesting in buying the design because they were planning to do a performance V-twin (V-Rod). Our contact at Harley Davidson left the company and we heard nothing else.

We currently build 3-4 concept motorcycle or quads of this level a year. The Apache was unique that it was so futuristic.

I will forward to you the PR tech sheet and any PR images of the motorcycle we have on file.

Thanks again,

Ken Laivins, Principle

Cycra dba / Next World Design Inc.

Ken also sent me a poster of the Apache. Click on pictures to enlarge.

January 27, 2005 Update

I received an e-mail from Tim Clemens today in regards to the info in my August 2, 2004 Update.

He said that some of the info at http://www.burningart.com/meico/moto/clemens/index.html I quoted in my August 2, 2004 Update isn't all correct. He said he will be in contact with me to straighten this info out and to remove the quoted material from my site (which I have). The info at that page isn't correct and he hasn't been able to contact the webmaster to change it.

I have also heard today from Warren Wilson who had Metropolis Motorcycle Works in Columbus, Ohio where he says the Apache was mostly built. He also has pictures and info.

So, hopefully, there will be another update very soon.

September 8, 2005 Update

I have been contacted by the owner of the Apache Warrior. He sent me some photos of the new paint job by Jesse Welch of TrickPaint.com.

He also said that the Apache made a cameo appearance in the movie "Ancient Warriors" starring Daniel Baldwin and Franco Columbu:

I have not been able to find "Ancient Warriors" in my area. If anyone can find the movie and is able to capture video or stills of the Apache Warrior in the movie, please email me at RammerJammer@Burntmail.com so I can post them on the website.

I have been in communication with Ken Laivins from Next World Design / Cycra Racing again. One of the things I asked him was "Why didn't the Apache go into production? There still seems to be a lot of interest in it."

He said the original investors in the project could not agree on how to put the bike into production. The response to the bike was much greater than anyone expected and would have required more capital to produce the bikes.

I hope to get more information and update this website in the future.

If you have any information, pictures, etc. about the Apache Warrior, email me at RammerJammer@Burntmail.com
